What is Cisco 360 Learning Program?

The Cisco 360 Learning Program for CCIE® Routing and Switching (R&S) provides network engineers who have three to five years of experience with an effective, job-relevant, and proven program to build expert-level skills and prepare for the rigorous Cisco CCIE Routing and Switching certification exams.

In as little as six months to one year, program participants will elevate their command of technical topics and develop skills for tackling the challenges that appear in real-life networks and in the CCIE lab exams. Authorized by Cisco, this unique program combines an expert-level curriculum with current, realistic lab scenarios, and a 360-degree learning approach. Most importantly, learners can study while on the job and maximize their development of expert-level skills and knowledge in a prescriptive, methodical manner.

The Cisco 360 Learning Program allows candidates to choose training products and services individually or in preassembled product bundles (Essentials, Preferred, and Premium) from Specially Authorized Cisco Learning Partners, such as Unitek Education. Key Features

Expert curriculum authorized by Cisco: The curriculum was developed by Cisco and is aligned with CCIE certification.

Blended learning: The program is flexible and serves learners with various learning styles and on-the-job responsibilities. The Cisco 360 Learning Program approach includes live instruction, self-paced instruction, text, video, and real-time collaborative learning opportunities.

Intensive hands-on lab format: Over 300 hours of hands-on, practical lab scenarios are offered employing a standardized topology. The program includes two- and four-hour focused technology labs and nine-hour comprehensive labs designed to be as complex as the CCIE certification lab.

Online learning management system: The Learning Management System (LMS) is accessible twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and tracks, scores, and drives progress for learners and reporting for management.

Assessment-driven format: Assessments are replete with quiz-style learning checks and graded practical labs, and include answer keys, opportunities for the participant to retake the assessment, and prescriptive feedback for additional learning.

Standards-based program: The curriculum is developed and maintained by Cisco CCIE curriculum developers and instructional designers to meet or exceed the standards set by the industry recognized certification.

CCIE R&S Workshop 1: Intended for students who require an in-depth understanding of frame relay, link layer, BGP, IGP, etc. Workshop is approximately 60% lecture and 40% hands-on work. Includes two (2) eight-hour assessment labs, graded and returned with mentor feedback.

CCIE R&S Workshop 2: Intended for students who are focused on mastering advanced configuration and troubleshooting. Workshop is approximately 20% lecture and 80% hands-on work. Includes five (5) eight-hour assessment labs, graded and returned with mentor feedback. Students will work collaboratively with other students and receive instruction via peer and instructor reviews.

Learning Management System

All products offer the full benefit of the program’s blended learning approach through the Cisco 360 Learning Program LMS. The LMS is a learning portal that provides access to the products and services available to learners. The LMS keeps track of all learner activities, logs learner and mentor comments, hosts lessons, labs, and a library, and offers access to the mentor guide. The LMS enables learners to track and trend their progress over an extended time period, work with a designated mentor.
