Citrix Access Suite 4.5: "VOS" - Virtualization, Optimization, and Streaming
Far more than just the flagship "Presentation Server" product, Citrix has widened its scope to be the "Access Infrastructure" of the organization, providing "Access consolidation", along with server and management console consolidation. Rather than stringing together various networking products, with each implementation a unique patchwork, the Citrix Access Suite offers a comprehensive end-to-end solution for access to the enterprise that begins to look at IT as a service that can be bundled and implemented almost instantly, enhancing business aspects of continuity, regulatory compliance, off shoring & outsourcing, data security, workforce flexibility and mobility, mergers and acquisitions, and branch office expansion.

If the older version of Office resides in the main application environment of the serer farm, and the new version of Office is in the Silo, periodic Office updates are going to have to be installed into the Silo.
Use the AIESETUP command to apply service packs or updates to applications installed into an isolation environment. For example, to install a service pack to an application installed in Silo2, do the following:
If the update is in the form of an MSI-based file: AIESETUP “Silo2” msiexec /update MSIPatchName.msp
For a non MSI based patch, use AIESETUP as follows: AIESETUP “Silo2” PatchProgramName |
