The 1308 course is the introductory module for knowledge transfer on the Access Gateway 4.5 Advanced Edition, with Advanced Access Control (AAC). The course includes hands-on labs configuring the Access Gateway 4.5 network appliance for use with the Advanced Access Control web server.

On the first day, the students cover an overview on the purposes and uses of Advanced Access Control and the citrix concept of 'Smart Access', and configure an Access Center farm. By the second day, the students have integrated an AAC website with WebInterface 4.2 and a Presentation Server fram, and configured EndPoint Analysis Scans with filters and policies, to control what kind of access a user gets to defined resources, based on the results of the scan.
