CXD- 200-1I: Implementing Citrix XenDesktop 3 and 4
In this course, students will learn to install, configure and manage Citrix XenDesktop 3. By completing the exercises available in a hosted online lab environment, students will obtain hands-on experience working with Citrix XenDesktop. Students will install and configure key desktop delivery components, including the Desktop Delivery Controller, Virtual Desktop Agent, Desktop Receiver and XenDesktop Setup Wizard. Students will also configure XenDesktop policy management settings and connect to a XenDesktop environment from a variety of endpoint devices.
The Citrix XenDesktop 4 Updates offers students an opportunity to identify the new features, enhancements and system requirements for XenDesktop 4. Students will learn how XenApp functions with XenDesktop 4 and complete an exercise to upgrade a version of XenDesktop 3 to XenDesktop 4.

Preparatory Recommendations

A basic knowledge of Citrix XenApp
A basic knowledge of Citrix Provisioning Server
A basic knowledge of Citrix XenServer
An understanding of computing architecture, including network and storage devices, device
Drivers and Operating systems
Basic experience installing and administering Windows Server 2003
