The course will teach participants some of the new features of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, version 5, aimed at RHCEs familiar with versions 3 and/or 4 of Enterprise Linux. Although the course will focus on material new from version 4 to version 5, some version 3 to version 5 material is included as well.
In addition, as a service to those considering recertifying under Red Hat Enterprise Linux, version 5, items that are newly covered for the RHCE exam under version 5 are also presented.
Based on release scheduling, it may be necessary to offer these courses under the version 5 Beta release. Therefore, for any RHUP 304 participant who in turn fails the RHCE exam under the Beta, we will offer them a free retake of the RHCE exam under the released version of the software. Participants must sit this free retake within six months of their original class. Offer is not valid for those who take the RHCE exam under the non-Beta (general availability) release.
All other expenses of travel and per diem are the student's responsibility.
