Attend this course to learn how to deploy, configure and manage one or more System Center Configuration Manager 2007 sites, and their supporting systems.
You will learn to assess, deploy and update your servers, clients, and devices – across physical, virtual, distributed and mobile environments.
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 is the follow-up to the very successful Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003.

This 5-day event runs 8-10 hours each day and covers material from Microsoft Official course 6451. This event includes customized courseware, test prep material for the exam, catered lunch each day, and a test voucher for Technology Specialist Exam 70-400. An in house Pearson/Vue test center is available for your testing convenience.

Training begins at 8 AM on each day and ends at 6 PM.

Pre-Requisites

This course is intended for Systems Engineers with one to three years of experience supporting multiple desktop and server computers running Microsoft Windows in medium to large enterprise organizations, and who will planning a Configuration Manager 2007 deployment.
Before attending this course, students must have:
  • A base-level understanding of Systems Management Server 2003.
  • System Administrator–level working knowledge of:
  • Deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting for Windows-based personal computers
  • TCP/IP networking
  • SQL Server
  • Active Directory
  • Basic Public Key Infrastructure concepts
