Unitek IT Education joins forces with CompTIA's Learning Alliance

FREMONT, Calif., July 6, 2006 - Unitek Education announced today that they have joined the world-wide CompTIA Learning Alliance (CLA) - the IT industry seal of recognition for quality CompTIA training providers. As part of the CLA, Unitek Education will bring new training initiatives to potential students and their respective organizations.
We are very proud to be a part of the CompTIA Learning Alliance and to be able to teach our courses using CompTIA Authorized curriculum, said Navraj Bawa, Executive Vice President. We have worked hard over the years to bring needed (and now officially recognized) CompTIA training resources to the market.
Being that Unitek Education is now a CLA, they will use CompTIA Authorized Quality Curriculum (CAQC) training materials including books, self-study guides, classroom training programs, computer-based training and other written and instructor-led programs that have been reviewed and found to map closely to the objectives of the CompTIA certification examination.
Unitek Education's training candidates will be able to identify authorized materials by the presence of the CAQC logo. For training candidates, the program takes the guesswork out of the decision process. Faced with various training options, they will know immediately which materials are most likely to help them prepare for a successful exam.
